Profile

I am a researcher with a behavioural science background in Psychology and a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) of the British Psychological Society. I completed my PhD at Teesside University, where I developed a culturally tailored theory-driven digital dietary intervention for South Asian women. Furthermore, I have worked in a variety of research positions in both primary care and public health, with a particular focus on representing underrepresented marginalised communities in research and addressing health disparities.

Currently, I am working at the Centre for Primary Care as a health services researcher on the COPD and assistive technology study. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study seeks to assess and explore whether assistive technology can assist people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in supporting independence and well-being.

Research Interests:

My areas of interest include developing health interventions to manage risk factors for long-term chronic conditions, particularly looking at ways to culturally tailor interventions for ethnic minority populations using a mixed-methods approach.
