Profile

I am a chartered health psychologist who joined the Centre for Primary Care at QMUL in 2011. I have a wide range of research interests but specialise in the development and evaluation of complex interventions for chronic illness providing input to the TANDEM https://www.tandemcopd.co.uk/, STAMINA Home | STAMINA, IMPART (IMP²ART | The University of Edinburgh) and ENHANCE projects amongst others. I offer expertise in the theoretical basis of behaviour change as well as fidelity assessment of intervention delivery.

I am currently QMUL co-lead for the Imperial and Colleges hub of the NIHR Research Support Service (RSS) and provide Health Psychology expertise within this service. Prior to joining QMUL I worked clinically at the Royal Brompton Hospital setting up and delivering the Health Psychology service to patients with Cardiac and Respiratory conditions.

Research Interests:

My research interest focuses around the development of complex behavioural or psychosocial interventions to support management of chronic conditions and evaluation of their delivery.  In particular I have interest in understanding and progressing methodology related to fidelity of interventions and training health care professionals to deliver behavioural approaches.   Currently I am working on the following programmes of work:-
