I am working on the UKPRP-funded ActEarly programme, and an NIHR School for Primary Care Research (SPCR) grant looking at child health inequalities. These focus on school food provision for children and young people, in partnership with Tower Hamlets council, schools and communities. I am also collaborating with UCL’s Thomas Coram Research Unit on a mixed-methods study of inequalities in access to Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC). Before joining Queen Mary, I worked as a Research Officer in a UKRI-MinCiencias grant, looking at mental health and youth development in Colombia at the London School of Economics (LSE), where I completed by PhD in sociocultural psychology. I apply sociocultural, community and health psychological approaches to qualitative and evaluation research. I have worked in various international grants on family, community and health development in Latin America and in UK policy research, looking at health inequalities and health promotion.
