Profile

I hold an MSc degree in Statistics and a Ph.D. degree in Economics & Management, both from the University of Padua (Italy).

Before joining Queen Mary University of London in 2022 as a Lecturer, I worked as an Advanced Research Fellow in Health Economics at the Imperial College London and I held similar positions at Bocconi (Italy) and Oxford.

Research

Research Interests:

My primary research interest is to understand how policy can affect health.

This ranges from assessing the association between mortality rates and large macroeconomic shock, through to developing and evaluating intervention for individuals suffering from mental health conditions (such as depression and/or social anxiety) and long-term comorbidities
