  • Master keys: Master keys for the Wolfson building offices are kept by Laura, Ellie, and Tracy. Patio door keys are held in Reception. Notify the Receptionist or Laura Odell, the CPDD Centre Manager if you lose your office keys.

Common Room and Kitchens

  • Help yourself to tea, coffee, milk and sugar from the kitchen. 
  • There is a separate tap on the sink for cold, filtered drinking water.
  • Try to label any items that you leave in the fridge.
  • There’s a common custom that any food/drink is for general consumption if it is put on the pine chest in the Common Room in the Wolfson Building.

Mail

  • Mail is collected from the John Vane Science Centre.
  • Outgoing mail is franked in the reception area. In the CPDD, Lutfa Begum (Receptionist/Administrator) and Aneet Gill are trained to use the franking machine. Parcels within the UK up to 13kg can be sent through the normal mail system. Heavier packages are sent via courier services. Please arrange to see Jenny Barnard in the former library, on the 1st

Visitors

Printing/Scanning/Photocopying

  • There are colour printer/scanner/copiers in Rooms 011 and 111. Their IDs are below.  The machine in Room 111 also has a scan to email facility. 
  • Room 011: CCP05_PCL6
  • Room 111: CCP01_PCL6

 

  • Heart Centre: The printer / photocopier / scanner can be found in the write-up area. Please order toner cartridges from Jenny Barnard (x3550).

Parking

  • You will require a permit if you wish to park in Charterhouse Square. See http://www.security.qmul.ac.uk/parking/ for more information.
  • Vehicular access is via Clerkenwell Road (any time) and main gates (08:00-19:00).
  • All visitors to the site should park outside the campus. However, some flexibility is exercised and temporary parking can be obtained with advance notice.
  • There are bicycle racks outside Dawson Hall, between the Wolfson Institute and the John Vane Science Centre and on the path to the Derek Willoughby lecture theatre.
