Locking your office:
Most shared offices have digital locks. Your Line Manager will be able to confirm the code required for entry.
A number of offices are key locked. You will be provided with a key from your Line Manager or Centre Manager.
If you lock yourself out of your office, a master key is available from the Centre Manager.
Common Room and Kitchens
The Centre provides milk, sugar, tea and coffee. Help yourself from the kitchen.
There is a kitchen/common room on the ground floor, inclusive of a microwave
Tea making facilities available on both the first and second floor.
Filtered water is available from the machine in the kitchen/ common room.
Mail
A rota system between the Centre Administrators has been arranged to collect all post from the Blizard Post room every AM/PM and either distributed to individuals if known or posted in the pigeon holes in the common room/kitchen on the ground floor.
Visitors
There is a door bell which rings through to the phones located on each floor. if you are expecting a visitor, please ensure you are readily available to receive the call or provide them with a specific contact for their perusal on arrival. This prevents disruptions to other team members.
Printing/Scanning/Photocopying
There are photocopiers on all floors of the building. Instructions on how to register your ID card can be found
here

For the ground and second floor printers you will need to enter a passcode so your photocopying is charged to the correct budget code.
If you are not connected to one of these printers, request this from the IT helpdesk by emailing
its-helpdesk@qmul.ac.uk
.
Parking
Parking is not available.
