Accidents and Emergencies

 

For Security / First Aid / Fire / Emergencies: ring x3333 (020 7882 3333 from external line). Be ready to specify what help you need (e.g. First Aider, Ambulance, Fire Brigade). Building Registered First Aiders can instead be called directly (for the nearest one please see First Aid signs in your area). Details regarding QMUL’s First Aid provisions are found here.

If you’ve had an accident or near miss whilst at work, however minor, you or your local Safety Officer/Line Manager must complete QMUL’s MySafety incident form. Serious incidents should be reported by phone with an incident form then completed.

 

Local Accident/Emergency facilities:

  • Royal London Hospital A&E, 24/7 facility. Tel: 020 7377 7000 (main hospital)
  • St Bartholomew’s Minor Injuries Unit, 8am to 4pm, Mon-Fri. Tel: 020 3465 5869 (or 020 3416 5000 for main hospital)
  • Moorfields Eye Hospital, 9am to 4.30pm, Mon-Fri. Tel: 020 7566 2345
