Lone Working

If you wish to work outside the normal working hours of 8am-6pm, or will be working in areas where you will be on your own, the following process must be adhered to:

  • Get your line manager’s permission
  • Be listed on your Centre’s Lone Working register (see your local Safety Officer for details)
  • Have read and signed your Centre’s Lone Working/Out of Hours Risk Assessment (and any supplementary Risk Assessments necessary for specific tasks or for staff with specific requirements), following all requirements as detailed
  • Sign in and out of the Out of Hours Register at the front desk
