We are an interdisciplinary group of academics who use critical approaches to research and develop policy solutions for a broad range of global public health issues. We are united by a commitment to tackling health inequalities and achieving health equity through bottom-up participatory action at a global, national, and local level.
We deliver postgraduate and undergraduate education and a diverse portfolio of research and policy engagement activities aligned with the thematic areas below. In keeping with our commitment to interdisciplinary working, we collaborate with colleagues across QMUL and with researchers and policymakers in local national and international organisations.
Our research, education, and engagement activities are organised around four overlapping themes. All our themes are crosscut by a commitment to understanding and tackling inequality though innovative and varied policy and practice change.
To understand the breadth of our work, please explore our research themes and the work of the academic staff aligned with them.
